The FIFA World Cup ends July 19. The Esports World Cup starts July 6. For Chzzk viewers, there is basically no gap.
Naver confirmed that Chzzk will exclusively livestream all 25 events of the Esports World Cup 2026 (EWC 2026), held in Paris, France from July 6 through August 23. This is an expansion from last year, when Chzzk covered 15 events. This time, all 25 are included.
What gets Korean-language coverage
Chzzk will produce full Korean-language broadcasts for nine events popular with domestic fans: League of Legends, Valorant, PUBG: Battlegrounds, Overwatch, and five others. For the remaining events, Korean-language coverage will be available for the finals only, while English broadcasts cover the full run.
AI features and exclusive content
Chzzk is applying its AI clip function to all major Korean-language broadcast events, so highlight clips of key moments will be available faster than before. An AI chapter function will also be applied across Korean-language events, making it easier to jump to specific moments in a VOD without scrubbing through the whole thing.
Beyond the broadcast itself, Chzzk is sending popular streamers to Paris in person. They will be producing on-the-ground content from the venue, capturing player reactions and tournament atmosphere. The League of Legends analysis podcast "Sseul.Keun.Ji" is also returning as an EWC special edition.
Why this matters
EWC is the largest esports event in the world, with a total prize pool exceeding $75 million. Korean teams and players compete across multiple titles, and the domestic fanbase follows closely. Having all 25 events exclusively on one platform, with Korean commentary and AI-assisted viewing features, makes Chzzk the clear destination for Korean esports fans through August.
